Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day

Be DaRiNg!!!!!!

Wear RED lips today. Just DO it. The first time I sported the shade my family was like…”What? No, sorry Jen that is just not your color.” Then I moved to Russia for a year and a half and wore it like NObodies business and it became one of my signature looks. I feel I missed out on many years of red lips. A fanTASTIC (and my favorite) tutorial for ruby red lips can be found here.

Perfect False Lashes

I am in LOVE with false lashes!!! Here I demonstrate how to get those buggers to stay on without going all “wonky” on ya. I think watching a lot of tutorials has helped me learn how to perfect the art but PRACTICE is key!!!! Keep on practicing and it will be easier than putting on mascara…unless you have problems putting on mascara. If that’s the case, think of something else that’s easy for ya =).
Cleaning Brushes In Us Weekly

Cleaning Brushes In Us Weekly

In this recent issue of Us Weekly, Poppy Montgomery asked this question,”Do I really need to clean my makeup brushes? If so, how often?”
The response was this ABSOLUTELY; clean them once a month. “Brushes can harbor bacteria that causes skin irritation and breakouts,” celeb makeup pro Christopher Drummond tells US. Swish bristles in baby shampoo for 30 seconds then lay flat to dry.

I agree, for sure that they need to be cleaned but more than that wouldn’t hurt and I think they should be disinfected as well. For a homemade recipe click here!
