Benson….not Slappy, even though he looks like him 😂! Benson and his crew were sooooooo creepy in this movie. There’s something about characters that are sinister and can’t speak. Anyone watch Buffy and remember the gentlemen????? I had nightmares for DAYZZZZ!!!!! Here are some fun facts about Benson:
The idea of a ventriloquist dummy character was inspired by the original concept of Woody, who was originally designed to be a dummy.
They resemble Slappy the Dummy from the Goosebumps franchise, specifically the movie version of the character.
The Bensons walk irregularly due to dummies requiring a human hand to keep them upright.

Girl power much??? Bo Peep was such a signature character. A staple! I was heartbroken when they eluded to her leaving the series. That look on Woody’s face! 😭 I was SO happy that they found each other again in this last movie….but….I have to say at first I was a little ruffled with how she was to Woody. It’s never sat well with me when people brag, “I tell it like it is. I speak my mind. I am brutally honest.” Because to me, these are excuses or justifications for being down right hurtful sometimes. Dooooon’t get me wrong, I think everyone should be able to say what they are feeling, to be honest, to clarify thought but it take a STRONG person to not take advantage of their own power and be able to convey honesty beautifully. To speak their mind with conviction without being nasty. That takes training, that takes self mastery, that is the person I hope to one day be. And THAT to me isn’t just girl power, it’s divine power. To become more like the person I follow and that He meant me to be. In an emergency, you better believe I’m barking orders and being downright blunt 😂. This morning Branson spilled a green chunky smoothie ALL over the cabinetry and floor……it was tense 🙈. When Bo tells him to get out of her way I felt so badly for him. He was messing things up a bit but he wanted so badly to be a knight in shining armor to her and help. I don’t think it makes me any less of a woman to look at my hubs as my knight and want him to save me every now and then. I save him on the regular too 🥰. I love my husband, I love my friends. They bring SO much to my life and pick up the slack in areas I’m lacking. I do the same for them. It makes me stronger to have others that I rely on. It teaches me patience, humility, how to love unselfishly, how to listen, how to ask for help and give them opportunities to grow by serving. We DO need each other! We are not meant to be solo….that’s VOLDERMORT’S plan!!!!! Don’t let him win!!!!! This Bo Peep is the most beautiful out there! @houseofsmithsdid an AMAZING job with hair cuz heaven knows I can’t 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Tell me your thoughts on brutal honesty vs beautiful honesty.
Yodel-Ay-Hee-Hoo!!!!!!! Oh my word LOOK at that cute Jesse!!! 😍😍😍 Can we talk about the fact that Emberly’s mouth is CLOSED?!?!?! It’s closed!!!!! After Darla this was my second attempt at drawing a mouth over an existing closed mouth. I felt so bad for Em when we were nearing the end of just the mouth portion. I just kept staring at it….then that feeling sunk in. I have to wipe a good portion of it off and start again. YOU GUYS!!!!! How many times have you just said, “It’s good enough, whatever.”???? I have said that SO many times!!!!!!! If I would have said that this time, not admitting to her and myself that it needed to be fixed, I would have missed out on the MANIACAL GIGGLE!!!! For those of you new here the maniacal giggle is the sound that creeps under the door of my makeup room anytime I am just SO pleased with how something has turned out 😂😂😂. My family knows it well! I am SO stinking happy with this mouth and for the freedom I felt in fixing it. I am a makeup artist. I have been for YEARS! But I’m allowed to say, I don’t know. Or I am not good at that technique. It’s freeing!!!!! Doesn’t mean I don’t keep trying to do liquid winged liner though….one day, one day I’ll get it 🙈🙈🙈😂😂😂. Now, who is your favorite Toy Story character and WHY? Welcome to Toy Story week!!!!! We are starting with the latest installment. Did ANYone else totally cry????? I did, I may have sobbed. Just soooo many years together and then GOODBYE??? I just couldn’t handle it 😂😭😂. Here is darling Aubrie @houseofsmiths darling daughter as Gabby Gabby. The only character I’ve REALLY been creeped out by, didn’t like, felt badly for then loved. So many emotions 😂😂😂. We used @wolfefaceartfx paint on her to create that tiny doll neck then a black cardigan around her shoulders to finish the effect. I planned on getting it done before my witches night party at my friend Libby’s but didn’t finish 100%. So what did I do? I went ANYway and wore a witches hat with a veil 😂😂😂. I’ll share in stories. Well, we had such a lovely time we didn’t leave till late and when I got home I still had quite a bit to do. I finished at 2:45 am and groggily took a quick shower and climbed into bed. I’m too old for that 😂. I used to stay up ALL night long, have a few hours of sleep and wake up no problem. Now? Nooooot so much! Ps Christina Ricci will aaaaaalways be the Wednesday Addams in my book. She’s the one I grew up with and her one liners (above) were the best!!! Just using emojis tell me your fave Halloween movie!!! “I’m through accepting limits ‘cause someone says they’re so. Some things I cannot change but till I try, I’ll never know.” Ever felt that way? You can’t do this, you can’t do that. I believed that because I was told I couldn’t do simple things, that I for SURE couldn’t do big things. I would shy away from the unknown a lot thinking it was BIG and I couldn’t do it. Fear kept me from practicing, from messing around in the makeup world because surely it wasn’t how “they” did it. Who’s they? Movie set makeup artists? Ones that went to school? YouTube gurus? I’ve always felt under qualified and sometimes still struggle with that. But I have been looking at myself in the mirror every morning and, along with other affirmations, I’ve been saying “You are good at figuring things out. You are great at teaching yourself a totally new one to attack a project. You are creative and YOU can achieve greatness.” It is CRAZY cool to start feeling differently about my skill set after just a few weeks of saying this everyday. When I started Elphaba (but since I haven’t seen the musical 🙈 I’m going off the Wizard Of Oz) I though, that’s funny that I’m using water activated paint and if someone were to dump a bucket of water on me the whole look would be ruined! And if someone dumped a whole bucket of water on her she would also be ruined! So I thought, how genius it would be to have drips coming from my face like I’m melting? I thought I was a genius! Like no one had thought of this before! Until I went to YouTube and saw so many people have already done it 🙈. But what do you think? Did that take away from it being “my idea”? Totally interesting thought right??? I came up with it all on my own even though others had done it. I’m going to own my genius and my excitement that I felt to do it. And I’ll own the model pose at the end 😂😂😂. I thought it was cool what my fave looked like after I took off the liquid latex. 🤓🤓🤓
How gross is that???? My 14 year old son came up with that caption 😂😂😂. Again, this movie scared the JUNK out of me. I do NOT like scary movies!!! I can’t handle them. If I see something, hear something disturbing I go STRAIGHT for a Disney movie. I was laughing SO hard at a story shared in the comments yesterday because it’s JUST what I do 😂😂😂. We shared our scariest movies yesterday and I think the Ring may have won (I don’t have exact data). NOW I want to hear what you do to try and get RID of the feelings that scary movies bring. Me? Seriously, a Disney movie all the way!!!! It brings me back to calm, back to happy, back to innocence. What do you do??? Share with everyone below

Oh my word I can’t do scary movies anymore but I used to!!! Okay, let’s talk about this picture shall we? There is not one STITCH of a shadow on my face!!!!!!!!!! Look again. NO shadows on my face. It’s all the illusion that is makeup. Black @wolfefaceartfx in my hair, cheek, neck and in my ear! There is one tiny tiny spot I missed on the “white side” ear but I refused to change it after the fact 😂. Also, you may recognize this moth from my Sarai look (a character from one of my FAVE books “Strange the Dreamer by @lainit). @mocreations_did her thing and changed the colors of it 🙌🏻. We went ALL out for this look and even made a short movie to go along with it!!!
